Responsibilities
● Managing the performance of the loan book via contacting customers (omnichannel) to resolve missed / overdue payments as part of our internal debt collection processes
● Acting as main POC for our external legal partners; preparing relevant documentation, tracking cases and managing communications via our legal partners to maximise performance
● Continuous Improvement: Contribute to refining collections frameworks, policies, and decision-making processes.
● Reporting: devising and providing feedback / reporting suitable for senior management / shareholders / investors
● Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with Credit Risk to ensure feedback loops to assist future underwriting / credit risk decisioning
● Technology & Analytics: Work alongside the Tech and Analytics teams to enhance our collections processes.
Who We’re Looking For
We value smart, driven, and detail-oriented professionals who are always looking to improve. The ideal candidate will have:
● 2+ years of experience in UK based Debt Collection / Customer Service (preferable but not essential)
● Strong business acumen with an understanding of SME risk and revenue drivers.
● Financial expertise to interpret financial statements and assess key risk indicators.
● An analytical mindset with a practical, problem-solving approach.
● Excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams.
● Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
● A proactive attitude in suggesting innovative solutions and process improvements.
● The ability to prioritise under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
