Mechanical Contracts Supervisor – Days Only \n\nWembley Stadium\n\nPerm Full Time\n\nSalary up to £60k (DOE), Plus Over time available + Flexible Benefits \n\n \n\nNG Bailey Facilities Services are expanding our team and are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical / HVAC Supervisor to ensure that Reactive Maintenance and Remedial Works are planned and executed in accordance with contract requirements across Mechanical Services, HVAC Services and associated systems at the prestigious Wembley Stadium.\n\n \n\nSome of the key deliverables in this role will include: \n\nHigh level of communication, particularly in reporting to line management and client contacts, fostering a collaborative environment in which to discuss and outline activities with both line NG Bailey and client teams.\n\n3 Direct Reports of Line management, including all HR and Operational activities to ensure a safe, healthy and proactive culture.\n\nAdherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements, ensuring that the engineering team also comply.\n\nTo ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the mechanical/HVAC aspects of the plant.\n\nHave a good understanding of BMS and Control Systems associated with Mechanical Plant and Equipment to assist fault diagnosis and correct set up.\n\nSupervise the team in all aspects of work, undertaking people management activities such as Safety Briefings, absence reporting, performance reviews, annual leave and timesheet approvals. Plan and arrange staff training to support their development.\n\nEnsure that you and the team undertake repairs to HVAC Plant and Associated Systems to a high standard.\n\nEnsure that you and the team undertake installation, alteration and repairs to pipework systems as needed to a high standard and in good time to minimise impact of downtime.\n\nHave the ability to undertake repairs to pumps within the workshop, including replacement of Mechanical Seals and other common causes of pump failure.\n\nTo respond in a prompt and effective manner to any Helpdesk related reactive maintenance issues, associated with the heating and ventilation systems, pumps, water tanks, valves, pipework and associated mechanical systems or as directed, ensuring that your team do similar.\n\nWorking hours are 40 hours – Monday to Friday – 8am-5pm + Overtime\n\n \n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\nAn experienced Contracts Supervisor (Mechanical) with a pro-active fault-finding approach to Engineering. A personable engineer who can articulate to clients the necessary steps and actions required to rectify issues when required\n\nYou will hold current qualifications to work as a Contracts Supervisor including;\n\nNVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 - Plumbing, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning 6187 or similar\n\nCity & Guilds 2079 F Gas Regulations (Desirable)\n\nExperienced in the electrical and mechanical aspects of general building service, repair and installation\n\nExceptional knowledge and experience working with and repairing Mechanical Systems and Heating and Ventilation Systems\n\nKnowledge of electrical principles including safe isolation, controls and basic fault finding\n\nUse of Trend BMS\n\nAuthorised Person – Mechanical (Desirable)\n\n \n\nBenefits:\n\n \n\nWe're always evolving our benefits to ensure we're attracting and retaining great people.
