GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated RE Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71), delivering engaging lessons that help students understand different religions, worldviews, and moral perspectives. As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will encourage enquiry, discussion, and reflection, supporting pupils in developing knowledge, tolerance, and critical thinking skills. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons that cover a range of religions and ethical topics. Support pupils in exploring values, beliefs, and moral questions as an RE Teacher. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach confidently. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
