As a FOS Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the chemical engineering team. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of chemical processes and solutions. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects. The Chemical Engineer Manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and improvement. You will report directly to our Director Chemical Engineer and you'll work out of our Bracknell location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have an impact by driving technical excellence, leadership, process optimization, collaboration, and safety. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to the company's growth, competitiveness, and success in the market. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage the chemical engineering team, including setting goals, defining priorities, and ensuring alignment with business objectives - Oversee the design, development, and implementation of chemical processes and solutions - Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive product development and improvement - Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure the successful execution of projects - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards YOU MUST HAVE - Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field - 6 years of experience in chemical engineering - Proven leadership and management skills - Strong technical expertise in chemical engineering principles and practices - Experience in product development and improvement - Knowledge of process simulation software WE VALUE - Strong leadership and team management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement - Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams - Passion for safety, sustainability, and compliance Equal opportunity statement We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
