Are you a seasoned finance professional with experience for navigating group reporting structures across borders? We're looking for a dynamic Finance Co-ordinator to lead group financial reporting requirements across the UK and Ireland businesses, acting as the vital link to our Group Headquarters in Austria.
Reporting to: Head of Finance (UK & Ireland)
Location: Hybrid working model. Ideally 2 days per week in the UK office in Lancashire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Key responsibilities of the role:
* Lead the delivery of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting through to the Group Head Office for the UK and Ireland operating companies.
* Ensure compliance with Group reporting policies, accounting standards (local GAAP), and internal controls.
* Liaise proactively with the Austrian Group Head Office to align local reporting processes with global requirements.
* Lead the preparation of consolidated financial results for both the UK and Ireland operating companies and contribute to external audit processes for both companies.
* Partner with the finance teams and senior leadership across the UK and Ireland businesses to provide financial insights and analysis that support strategic decision-making and to drive continuous improvement across the UK and Ireland businesses.
Key candidate requirements:
* Proven experience in finance roles within a global group structure.
* A strong understanding of UK financial reporting standards and consolidation processes within a group structure.
* Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate with central head offices across borders.
* Experience with dealing with software platforms including Microsoft Office, ERP and CRM (Microsoft 365 Business Central and Sales CRM)
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
Company benefits:
* Salary of £30,000, dependant on experience.
* 20 days holiday, plus 8 Bank Holidays per annum, increasing to 25 with length of service. Option to purchase up to 5 additional holiday days each year.
