The role involves collaborating with clinical colleagues to provide a comprehensive gynaecological cancer service to patients in Coventry, Warwickshire, and the former Arden Cancer Network. The successful candidate will help develop the Centre towards sub-specialty training recognition.
The emphasis is on expanding the service, with sessions at City of Coventry Health Centre and South Warwickshire Foundation Trust (SWFT), supporting the established gynaecological oncology service at UHCW. The post requires ensuring high-quality, efficient services aligned with national targets such as 2-week waits and 31/62 days referral to treatment, and Faster Diagnosis Targets. Theatre sessions are at University Hospital, Coventry, alongside clinics and MDTs, with some outpatient clinics and MDT presence at other sites.
