The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a major commercial office development programme in the City of London. The role sits within a high-profile mechanical and public health engineering package, supporting the delivery of complex, large-scale office projects.
This position offers exposure to multiple projects and the opportunity to take ownership of key mechanical packages from design through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
Management and delivery of one or more mechanical engineering packages on a major commercial office development
Oversight of engineering coordination, technical submissions, and compliance with design and specification
Package management, including subcontractor coordination, progress tracking, and quality control
Supporting and managing commissioning activities and handover documentation
Planning and sequencing works in line with overall project programmes
Liaising with project management, design teams, consultants, and site teams to ensure smooth delivery
Identifying and resolving technical and delivery challenges on site About You
Proven experience working as a Project Engineer (or similar) on large commercial building projects
Strong background in mechanical and/or public health engineering
Experience managing subcontractors and mechanical packages on projects valued £30m+
Comfortable working on fast-paced, city-centre commercial developments
Strong organisational, communication, and coordination skills What's on Offer
