Trainer in Health and Social Care

We're looking for a dedicated Trainer to deliver top-class, essential learning to new and existing Carers, as well as office staff. Your role is vital in increasing the skills, knowledge, and confidence of our operational team, directly improving the quality of care we provide.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
* Deliver High-Impact Training: Lead a variety of crucial courses, including Moving & Handling, Dementia, Basic First Aid, Safeguarding, Fire Safety, Medical Administration, and more.
* Support Our Team: Provide critical on-the-job and refresher training to existing staff, and act as a foundational support for new Carers entering the industry.
* Mentor and Guide: Act as a lead mentor to Supervisors and Managers, advising on training, quality assurance standards, and professional development.
* Collaborate: Work closely with the Recruitment Team to ensure smooth inductions and progress tracking for new Carers (including the Care Certificate attainment).
* Monitor and Report: Manage your own diary, adhere to training plans, and collate learning and development statistics to report on compliance and progress.
* Build Relationships: Maintain excellent working relationships with Carers, service users, and office colleagues.
What You'll Need to Succeed (Qualifications & Skills):
Essential:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Care Sector.
* Must hold a "Train the Trainer" qualification or be willing to attend relevant courses.
* NVQ / QCF / RQF Level III.
* A clean driving licence with access to your own car.
* Excellent communication (written and verbal) and IT skills.
* Strong organizational skills and a self-motivated, collaborative approach.
Desired:
* NVQ/QCF Level III in Health & Social Care (or equivalent/above).
* Experience in Performance Management and Professional Boundaries.
