Questech Recruitment Ltd are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Maintenance Electrician.
The Person (Qualifications)
* NVQ Level 3 or advanced apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.
* Further qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering (18th Edition).
* Good knowledge of electrical maintenance and operation of all factory machines.
* Good practical mechanical skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimum supervision.
* Commitment to product, quality and safety.
* Be positive, flexible and hard-working.
The Role (Responsibilities)
* Providing day to day maintenance support to ensure all plant and machinery are maintained to a high standard, to enable the safe and efficient running of the manufacturing operation.
* Ensure safe working practices are always observed to minimise risks to personnel with production areas.
* Ensure that scheduled and unscheduled maintenance are completed for all major items of plant equipment.
* Ensure that all documentation required for quality, health and safety and environment is completed satisfactorily.
* Awareness and adherence to the Company's, Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
Working pattern
This role is working a continental shift pattern - 4 on 4 off - 12 hours Days & Nights.
Salary
The salary will be between £46,500pa - £47,500pa.
