Autumnal Partners are currently exclusively leading the search for a fund accountant for a newly launched PE semi-liquid strategy as part of a large PE fund manager's broader platform.
Working closely with the CFO, Fund Controllers, and front office teams, you will play a key role in the financial management and oversight of this innovative new strategy. This is a hands-on and commercially engaged role, offering outstanding exposure to both traditional private equity and open-ended fund structures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ownership of day-to-day fund accounting, valuations, and NAV production
* Oversight and management of third-party administrators
* Review of investor reporting, capital calls, and distributions
* Liaison with auditors and tax advisors
* Supporting the implementation of new systems and processes for the strategy
* Assisting with regulatory reporting and internal projects
The Ideal Candidate:
* Circa 2–3 years post qualified (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), Big 4 training preferred
* Background in fund accounting, ideally with exposure to private equity, credit, real assets, or semi-liquid structures
* Strong technical accounting skills with a keen eye for detail
* Commercial mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ambitious, proactive, and excited to be part of a fast-growing strategy
