Cosentino UK is looking for an Architecture & Designer Sales Manager to grow the Commercial Area of the business, covering the following postcodes: BH, DT, GU (part of), GY (Guernsey), JE (Jersey), PO (including Isle of Wight), RH, SO, SP.
The Architecture & Designer Sales Manager is responsible for obtaining design specifications from an existing portfolio of Architects and Specifiers and developing new business with key project accounts in the area.
What you will do
1. Create short- and long-term sales plans to penetrate architectural and design firms, developers, corporate accounts, new property owners, and service providers to gain specifications and sales of work surfaces, flooring, interior cladding, and exterior facades.
2. Develop new project opportunities through personal sales efforts and professional relationships with architects, designers, building owners, and property management firms involved with new development or renovation work.
3. Promote the organization’s products in formal presentations to architects, designers, and targeted organizations.
4. Execute sales plans within agreed timelines from customers or Cosentino Management.
5. Maintain accurate relationship, product placement, and project details within the project management database (Salesforce CRM).
6. Manage the sales development of Cosentino surfacing products.
7. Focus on exterior applications within the core geography by staying aware of market trends and pursuing profitable opportunities for organizational growth.
8. Represent and promote Cosentino to the community through hosting and attending local chapter events.
9. Ensure timely management and communication across all parties to facilitate successful sales programs, including updating sales collateral, technical data, samples, mockups, and proposals.
10. Manage own sales budget, maintaining discipline to stay within assigned sales and expense budgets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
11. Assist with regional corporate account rollout programs, which may require travel outside the assigned geography. Advance notice will be provided.
12. Commit to continual learning about Cosentino Surfacing Products, their applications, and installation processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
13. Provide key sales information and market insights to senior management.
14. Coordinate with Cosentino Account Managers, business partners, fabricators, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
What you need to succeed
Experience: At least 4-5 years in a similar role.
Skills: Must be local; experience with façades is a plus.
Education: Ideally a bachelor’s degree.
