The post holder will deliver shifts from a trauma-informed perspective, guided by the team within the managing risk framework at the service. Lived experience of mental health challenges is welcomed.
The post holder will work alongside colleagues during each shift and receive ongoing supervision and reflective practice from senior staff.
They will lead some activities in the house and be responsible for ensuring the environment maintains the privacy, dignity, and respect of all service users.
Shifts will include weekend work alongside senior staff as required.

Key Responsibilities
* Build therapeutic relationships with guests using a person-centred, trauma-informed, social care approach.
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop recovery plans and promote personal responsibility.
* Plan and deliver therapeutic activities that support recovery.
* Communicate effectively, demonstrate empathy and compassion, and handle situations sensitively.
* Support guests in seeking other services such as accommodation, benefits, and advocacy.
* Record notes and progress on the Trust's electronic patient records system.
* Build relationships with community and statutory services to connect guests to resources.
