Specialist Respiratory Physiologist

We are looking for a Specialist Respiratory Physiologist (Band 6) to work day shifts in Hackney. You can apply now for the opportunity to work in this role.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 6 months of Healthcare experience as a Specialist Respiratory Physiologist (Band 6)
2. Right to work in the UK
3. References covering the last 3 years of clinical employment
4. AHPs should have 1 year of experience
5. HCPC registered
6. Overseas Police Check, if any
7. Indemnity Insurance
8. Up-to-date CV
9. Key skills: Compassion, Time management, Clinical Skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
10. Assist in adult sleep studies, lead the Sleep Clinic, and support non-invasive ventilation services.
11. Conduct and interpret lung function tests, sleep studies, and CPAP titrations while providing patient guidance on equipment use.
12. Supervise and train junior staff, manage equipment calibration and maintenance, and oversee stock control.
13. Book appointments, maintain accurate databases for audit/research, and support departmental education and research initiatives.
14. Promote high-quality care, advise on health-enhancing activities, and manage caseload effectively.
