POSITION: Account Executive
Egnyte is looking for an Account Executive who will join a growing sales organization and focus on driving new business. The Account Executive is responsible for developing, managing, and closing new & upsell business to assigned accounts, which typically have complex file sharing, storage, and governance requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to close new business opportunities across the UK & EMEA Enterprise marketplaces – directly and through partners.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
1. Engage with and achieve sales quotas in assigned accounts by developing a sales strategy within your territory with a targeted prospect list.
2. Build, develop, and maintain a healthy pipeline to meet revenue targets and secure new logos.
3. Align Egnyte’s solutions with customer needs, pain points, and technical requirements, converting these into sales opportunities.
4. Present and articulate Egnyte’s vision and solutions to secure commercial commitments predictably.
5. Accurately forecast business to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives.
6. Manage pipelines and sales forecasts, maintaining records of communications, accounts, and opportunities.
7. Travel to prospect locations as necessary to pursue highly qualified opportunities.
8. This role is hybrid, combining remote and on-site work.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
* 4+ years of degree or equivalent experience
* Minimum of 5+ years successful Enterprise SaaS sales experience
* Proven track record of consistent activity, pipeline development, and achieving $1m+ quotas
* Demonstrated results from own pipeline generation; a natural “hunter” is preferred
* Tenacity and grit to close deals as forecasted
* Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills
* Technically adept, experienced with web technologies
* Experience with Cloud/SaaS solutions is appreciated
