Role: Product & Category Manager– Castleford
Salary: £40k to £55K per annum
Working Hours: Monday – Wednesday 8:30-5 office based. Thursday - Friday working from home. 4pm finish Friday.

General overview:
We are seeking an ambitious Product & Category Manager to support the development and commercial performance of our embedded lighting range, with a focus on LED strip lighting and profile systems across kitchen, bedroom, and the wider home environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up into a broader role, combining commercial ownership, market intelligence and range management. You will work closely with senior stakeholders while taking increasing responsibility for both the product range and its performance in the market.
The role will involve a mix of hands-on product work, category analysis and supplier coordination, with strong support and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development & Technical Support
* Support the development and management of LED strip and profile lighting systems
* Assist in defining product specifications (e.g. output, CCT, addressable, smart, system compatibility)
* Work with in-house design teams on product updates and new developments
* Help ensure consistency across LED strips, profiles, drivers, and accessories
Category Management & Commercial Support
* Support the management of the embedded lighting category across kitchen, bedroom, and home applications
* Analyse sales, margin, and product performance data to identify trends and opportunities
* Assist with range reviews, product launches, and rationalisation
* Contribute to pricing, product positioning, and product tiering
Supplier & Product Coordination
* Work with off-the-shelf suppliers and OEM partners to manage product ranges
* Support product sourcing, sampling, and evaluation
* Help maintain product data, specifications, and documentation
* Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth product delivery
Go-To-Market & Cross-Functional Support
* Work with sales and marketing teams to support product launches and campaigns
* Help create product materials, guides, and training content
* Act as a link between technical product details and commercial messaging
Ideal Attributes:
