About Our Practice
We are a high‑achieving training, part‑dispensing GMS practice serving 9,700 patients. Our team includes 4 GP partners, 2 salaried GPs, 2 GP registrars, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Women's Health), a Nurse Practitioner, 3 Practice Nurses, a Nurse Associate, 2 Health Care Assistants, a First Point of Contact Physiotherapist, a Clinical Pharmacist and 2 GP Assistants. We also have experienced admin, care navigation, dispensary and housekeeping staff.
Services
We provide the full range of GMS primary care services and locally commissioned services, including coil clinics and phlebotomy. We use purpose‑built premises with staff parking and maintain a Good rating by the Care Quality Commission.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide full range of general medical services according to patient need.
* Participate in and maximise income via Enhanced Services, QOF, LES and IIF, taking responsibility for agreed areas.
* Provide on‑call services as a duty doctor during core hours.
* Participate in clinical audit and governance activities.
* Complete medical and other reports for patients registered with the Practice.
* Provide clinical supervision of other professionals, including nurses and registrars.
* Maintain personal professional development through an education plan, professional requirements and appraisal.
Person Specification
* You enjoy general practice and are passionate about delivering safe and effective care, contributing to the development of the services that we provide and maintaining or improving a Good CQC‑rated service.
* Be a practising General Practitioner.
* Be included in the GMC Register.
* Be on the NHS England Performers List (or on the Wales Performers List, with guidance on the process).
* Possess excellent communication skills.
* Accept that offers of employment are subject to receipt of satisfactory references and an Enhanced DBS check.
