Postal Delivery Driver – Hereford, Pay: £13.37 per hour (Monday–Saturday) | £14.49 per hour (Sunday) Type: Temporary, ongoing Start Date: Immediate Hours: 30–40 hours per week Shifts: Mon to Saturday 08:00–16:00, 5 to 6 days per week (including Saturday)
We are currently recruiting reliable and motivated Postal Delivery Drivers for one of the UK’s most iconic and trusted brands. With a 500-year history and a 150,000-strong team, this organisation plays a vital role in communities across the country, ensuring mail and parcels are delivered promptly and professionally.
The Role:
* Begin each shift at the local delivery office, sorting mail for your assigned route.
* Load your van and complete your deliveries using a hand-held device for navigation and proof of delivery.
* Typically, delivery rounds take approximately four hours to complete.
* Work independently while also being part of a supportive team environment.
What We’re Looking For:
* A full UK manual driving licence (held at your current address) with no more than 6 minor penalty points.
* Availability to work weekends is essential.
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role is beneficial.
* A positive, upbeat attitude and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
* Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Strong sense of community and commitment to delivering excellent service.
