Urban Planner
Manchester Based | £30k-£37k | Flexible Hours Available
We're currently representing a progressive planning consultancy on the lookout for a talented Urban Planner to join their growing team in Manchester. The Role:
As a Planner, you'll be working closely with senior consultants and clients on a wide variety of planning projects across the UK. Your role will include:
* Carrying out planning policy research and initial site appraisals
* Preparing high-quality written planning advice and reports
* Managing smaller applications and supporting larger projects
* Coordinating with external consultants and internal design teams
* Producing planning updates, client briefings, and social media content
* Supporting the team's business development efforts and networking activity
What You'll Need:
* A Master's degree in Planning, Geography, or a similar field
* Around 2 years of practical experience in a planning or consultancy environment
* A strategic mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Comfortable taking initiative and working independently
* RTPI Associate membership (or working towards full accreditation)
* Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is a plus
* A UK driver's licence is beneficial but not essential
