Job Summary

As the Technical and Compliance Manager at Pointer Ltd., you will be responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance and improvement of our Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements. You will oversee the daily operations of the IMS, ensuring that it is operating efficiently and that all processes comply with established standards.

Your role will involve conducting internal audits, monitoring performance, and providing expert guidance to colleagues to ensure continuous improvement across the organisation. By promoting a customer-centric approach, you will work closely with top management to identify areas for enhancement and ensure that the company consistently meets its compliance obligations. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong auditing experience and the ability to drive improvements within the management system.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain and Update IMS Documentation: Ensure that the Integrated Management System (IMS) documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and effective. This includes overseeing its continuous improvement and accessibility to relevant teams.
* Performance Reporting: Regularly assess the performance of the IMS, identify areas for improvement, and provide detailed reports to top management regarding system performance and compliance status.
* Promote Customer-Centric Culture: Advocate for a customer-focused approach across the organisation, ensuring that customer needs and satisfaction are central to operational processes.
* Ensure Operational Process Compliance: Monitor and review operational processes to ensure they are being carried out according to established plans and are meeting the desired outputs and quality standards.
* Provide Guidance on the IMS: Offer expert advice and guidance to colleagues regarding the application and best practices of the IMS, ensuring that all team members are aligned with system requirements.
* Manage Changes to the IMS: Oversee any modifications or updates to the IMS, ensuring they are implemented in a controlled, systematic manner that maintains the integrity and effectiveness of the system.
* Ensure Compliance with ISO Standards: Ensure that the organization's processes comply with relevant ISO standards and any other applicable regulatory requirements. Monitor ongoing compliance and suggest improvements when needed.
* Internal Audits: Conduct regular internal audits of the management system, ensuring compliance with internal standards and identifying any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
* Audit Execution and Reporting: Execute audits as per the established audit schedule and report any issues or non-conformities found during audits, ensuring that corrective actions are promptly implemented.
* Pointer Internal Auditor Requirements: Adhere to the responsibilities outlined in section 5.3.2 of the internal audit framework, ensuring audits are performed in accordance with organizational requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Relevant qualification in compliance management, business management, or related field (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor, NEBOSH, or equivalent).
* ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification (preferred).
* Strong understanding of ISO management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO
* Experience with internal auditing techniques and audit methodologies.
* Proficiency in compliance documentation management and maintaining ISO certifications.
* Excellent analytical skills to identify gaps and areas for improvement in processes.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Proven ability to handle change management while ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and compliance management software.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full, current driving license (for site visits and audits if required).

Experience:

* Strong background in compliance management, particularly with ISO standards (3+ years' experience).
* Previous experience in conducting internal audits (2+ years' experience).
* Proven ability to manage and improve management systems within a similar industry (3+ years' experience).
* Experience providing guidance on operational processes and ensuring they meet required outputs (2+ years' experience).
* Demonstrated ability to report on and analyse the performance of the IMS, suggesting improvements where necessary (3+ years' experience).
* Desirable: Understanding of National Security Inspectorate (NSI) standards and certification requirements.
