Lead the key country listing / formulary inclusion action planning and execution for AstraZeneca Rare Disease Portfolio products with a comprehensive and compelling approach in a multicultural environment.
Demonstrate a high level of integrity, broad knowledge of all inclusion and decision-making processes of each of the key payers in the country; as well as solid stakeholder management, strong relationships with payers and key stakeholders, and proven capability to gather insights, negotiate effectively, and demonstrate knowledge of pharmaceutical market access strategies & innovative market access agreements models, with a proactive approach to business partnerships.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health system dynamics, policies, and regulations.
* Continuously map key accounts to ensure a deep understanding of access opportunities, priorities, barriers, and potential in the defined countries.
* Gather insights from key payers and understand their value drivers to develop tailored access & pricing strategies that ensure patient access to our medicines.
* Develop and update stakeholder mapping and employ it to execute a comprehensive stakeholder engagement plan throughout the inclusion/decision-making process.
* Understand payer needs and identify data gaps related to Health Technology Assessment and HEOR to add value to the access strategy and build solid reimbursement/inclusion dossiers.
* Deliver national pricing & reimbursement dossiers and conduct listing/formulary inclusion negotiations in collaboration with the Field Access Lead, applying integrated account models to consolidate technical and financial data and ensure proper forecasting and supply.
* Analyze and resolve complex/multi-technology requests during the access/inclusion process, obtaining rapid responses from payers during the influence phase, leading cross-functional solutions with medical, access, pricing, legal, and regulatory teams.
* Follow up and track the entire inclusion and decision-making process, leveraging stakeholder engagement plans to meet access/inclusion objectives.
* Ensure high-quality results in all customer-pricing matters and payers’ value drivers.
* Collaborate closely with the Market Access Director to ensure flawless implementation and execution of access strategies in the country.
* Prepare management presentations and dashboards on access/inclusion progress and milestones.
* Provide quarterly updates to build competitive intelligence on market access (cross-functional).
* Review and analyze market demand and access opportunities, and prepare proposals.
* Maintain 100% compliance with policies, procedures, and AstraZeneca’s Code of Ethics.
* Participate in and contribute to various project teams and special projects.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
· Medical or Health degree, plus 5 years of institutional business experience (Required).
· Proven experience in the Rare Disease market.
· Advantageous experience in Public - Institutional Sales / Commercial.
· Knowledge of health system dynamics, policy, regulations, market access trends, and pricing basis.
· Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive attitude, focused on access goals, priorities, and milestones.
· Mature, credible, and comfortable engaging with top government authorities, payers, and decision-makers.
