Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday [term-time only available]
Role Overview:
As a Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the diverse needs of students within our education setting. The successful candidate will have experience working with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as managing challenging behaviours effectively. You will work closely with staff, students, and parents to create an inclusive environment that promotes academic success and personal growth for all.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategies to support students with SEND and SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
• Collaborate with teachers support staff, and external agencies to provide tailored interventions and support plans.
• Monitor the progress of students with SEND and adapt strategies as needed to ensure their individual needs are met.
• Provide training and guidance to staff members on best practices for inclusion and supporting students with SEND.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and support interventions.
• Monitor and support sessions, de-escalating situations and supporting staff members to promote a positive learning environment for all.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working with SEND needs and challenging behaviour in an educational setting.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team - a natural leader.
• A genuine passion for promoting inclusion and supporting the needs of all students.
