Lifeworksis looking to recruit a Senior Staff Nurse to join the team. This is afull time 37.5 hours role, working independently when required.

As a Senior Staff Nurse,you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

Job responsibilities
* Deliver prescribed care to a defined group of patients/Service users that reflect their individual needs
* Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse. This includes the evaluation and review of these plans, with the patient/Service User, on a frequent basis, that is reflective of their needs
* Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary team
* Build relationships and effectively communicates and engages with external professionals and stake holders
Person Specification
Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications/Experience
* The ideal candidate will be a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active NMC registration, 3 years post-registration experience, and completion of a preceptorship programme. They will have knowledge of NMC guidelines, requirements, and professional practices, along with evidence of post-registration continuing professional development. The candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude, a commitment to change, improvement, and quality, and the ability to develop and use flexible, innovative approaches to practice. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. They will have a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience within a mental health or learning disabilities care environment, with evidence of continued professional development in a relevant field.
