SEND Teacher (1:1 & small groups)
Employer: Reputable tuition center (ages 5–18)
Location: Lozells, Birmingham (in-centre; some in-school/home may arise)
Contract: Part-time or full-time (school-day hours, some after-school)
Pay: £20–£30 per hour DOE (benchmark based on current local SEND tutoring rates).
The role
Deliver high-quality 1:1 and small-group tuition for learners with SEND/SEMH, including those with EHCPs, CLA and UASC. You'll plan personalized learning, track progress, and produce concise reports for schools/parents, helping learners re-engage and make measurable gains.

What you'll do
* Plan and teach targeted English/Maths (and/or other subjects) tailored to individual needs.
* Set baselines, monitor progress, and complete short impact reports.
* Work closely with our safeguarding lead; follow centre policies and school expectations when on site.
* Maintain excellent attendance/communication and professional conduct at all times.
About you
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or strong specialist tutoring background with demonstrable SEND experience.
Confident with SEMH-informed practice and de-escalation; experience with EBSA/re-integration is a plus.
Up-to-date safeguarding training and familiarity with KCSIE (Part 1) expectations for staff working in education settings.
