Progress Coach Ref: 160250 Location: Wakefield College Salary: £30,483 to £32,292 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week Weeks: 52 weeks per year We have an exciting opportunity for a Progress Coach to join our motivated and enthusiastic Care & Early Years and Health & Social Care team. The role is varied with lots of opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge. You will provide outstanding mentoring and support to our 16-19 learners, to ensure they achieve their highest potential, and have an excellent student experience! You will be required to: Hold 1-1 meetings with individual students to discuss their progress and overcome barriers to non-attendance and punctuality concerns, tracking and monitoring any impact. Develop positive relationships with students and their primary carer/s to support improvements in attendance and behaviour. Including contacting non-attending students and their primary carer/s to ensure safeguarding and continued engagement. Collaborate with other additional student support services to ensure all appropriate mechanisms are in place to allow a student to progress well and succeed. Support curriculum in delivering effective Behaviour Regulation Meetings, focusing on relational and trauma informed practices. As a Progress Coach, you should be confident, well organised, and proactive with good IT skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
