Position Overview
Ithaca Energy is seeking an exceptional leader to take on the role of Cygnus Asset Manager, a key member of the Operations Leadership Team. This is a senior-level position accountable for the full lifecycle performance of the Cygnus asset — from day-to-day production to long-term field strategy, through to decommissioning.
Responsibilities
You will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for:
* Driving high standards in HES and process safety
* Delivering against production targets and uptime goals
* Managing Opex and Capex performance
* Leading Life of Field planning, from current state to Cessation of Production (COP)
* Representing Ithaca in joint venture (JOA) engagements, including chairing TCM and OCM meetings
* Supporting Ithaca’s environmental objectives, including net zero by 2040
You’ll be a visible leader across onshore and offshore teams, actively shaping culture, performance, and safety behaviours, while fostering strong working relationships with partners, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven leadership as an Asset Manager — it is essential that applicants have previously held full accountability for an offshore asset, including responsibility for safety, production, planning, and budget management.
* Chartered Engineer status is preferred.
* Strong operational background with a deep understanding of full asset lifecycle management from early operations through to decommissioning.
* Demonstrated success leading both offshore and onshore teams in a high-performance, safety-focused environment.
* Strong experience in joint venture management, including acting as the Operator and engaging with JV partners and stakeholders.
* Confidence engaging with regulators, government bodies, and senior internal leadership.
* Offshore certification (BOSIET and valid medical) required.
