HGV Class 1 TramperJob description
We are looking for class 1 drivers for ongoing tramping for my client in Linwood. This will be ongoing work with long hours.
HGV Class 1 Tramper Duties
* Operate a lorry to transport goods to various locations.
* Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing it appropriately for transit.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
HGV Class 1 Tramper Requirements
1. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role,
2. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
