The Governors of The Elton High School are seeking to appoint an Assistant Safeguarding in Education Officer, with a specific focus on Children Looked After. Four days per week will be dedicated to Children Looked After, and one day per week will support key members of the Student Support Team.
The role involves leading the development, completion, and implementation of PEPs (Personal Education Plans). The post holder will plan appropriate provision and support for all Children Looked After and post-CLA, and provide high-quality safeguarding advice and support on safeguarding-related issues within the school. Candidates should possess extensive knowledge and experience in supporting children, with a strong background in schools, education, or children’s social care.
