Planner – SP Energy Networks
Location: Fullarton Road, Glasgow East Investment Park, Cambuslang, G32 8FA
Salary: From £37,560 with excellent benefits
Type: Permanent and Full-Time

Responsibilities
* Develop and evolve Transmission Core Project plans throughout the Delivery lifecycle by interfacing with relevant business experts.
* Obtain task details required to provide adequate project scheduling information to monitor performance against agreed KPIs.
* Update project plans at a pre‑determined frequency (usually monthly) with inputs gathered through collaboration with other Project Team members.
* Produce portfolio‑level monthly reports based on the most up‑to‑date Project Plan KPIs to inform and assist portfolio‑level management decision making.
* Analyse internal departmental schedules and external contractor project plans as required, ensuring suitability and advising on actions needed to meet overall plan control and schedule targets.
* Attend internal and external meetings, providing planning advice, reports, KPIs and programme views to assist Project Team decision making.
* Ensure compliance with relevant Quality Management Systems and support any process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Educated to HNC level in an Engineering/Mathematical discipline or possessing relevant experience in scheduling/programming/planning projects or portfolio management.
* Knowledge of scheduling using industry standard software such as Primavera and MS Project.
* Proven ability to work in a team environment, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience in report writing and proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Access).
* Appreciation of quality assurance processes.
