Band 5 Mental Health Practitioners – Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team

We have vacancies for experienced, passionate, and motivated professionals to join our OUTSTANDING Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team at Harplands Hospital.

Salary: £29,970 - £36,483 per annum, full-time 37.5 hours per week.

If you are ambitious, enthusiastic, innovative, and creative, and want to make a difference, we want to hear from you. Let us support you in achieving your next career challenge.

Our Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team provides exceptional services across Stoke and Staffordshire, ensuring high standards of care at first contact and during crises. Working within Crisis Care can be demanding but rewarding. We invite applicants to visit and see our team in action.

The Crisis Care Centre is a key part of the urgent care pathway, offering an all-age single point of access to mental health services in North Staffordshire. It provides a 24/7 crisis service and intensive home treatment as alternatives to inpatient admission.

In line with the NHS Long Term Plan, the centre will expand its services to include referrals via NHS 111, alongside dedicated lines for ambulance, police, GPs, and other professionals requiring urgent mental health responses.

The post-holder will help set and maintain standards of care, coordinate services, and ensure individuals in crisis receive a safe and effective response. They will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver recovery-focused, collaborative patient care.

We are committed to service and system transformation to improve health and wellbeing through high-quality care. Our organization prioritizes staff wellbeing, offering flexible working and wellness opportunities.

Aligned with the Greener NHS initiative, we aim to become the world’s first 'carbon net zero' health system by 2045. We support staff in working towards these sustainability goals through our Green Plan and engagement campaigns.

We value diversity and inclusion and welcome applications from all underrepresented groups, including women, people with disabilities, those from global majority backgrounds, and LGBTQ+ communities.
