Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered nurse to temporarily join our team as a community staff nurse within the District Nursing Service in the Dunfermline locality for 43 weeks to cover for maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities
Provide community nursing care as part of a 24‑hour, 7‑day Community Nursing Service.
Work weekends and public holidays, and be willing to work in other areas of NHS Fife if the service warrants it.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Significant nursing experience and demonstrable leadership and communication skills.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Extensive clinical expertise and knowledge.
* Desire to assist the Community Nursing Team in delivering a high‑quality service.
* Ability to work autonomously within a dynamic environment.
* Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
* Ability to travel across the locality.
* Pro‑rata salary based on part‑time hours.
Working Conditions
Coverage of weekends and public holidays, with potential assignment in other NHS Fife locations.
