As Communications and Marketing Officer, you will work on projects across bus, rail, active travel and electric vehicle, devising and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns to engage a wide range of audiences and stakeholders. The Role Reporting into the Senior Communications and Marketing Officer your key responsibilities will include: · Plan, deliver, and evaluate multi-channel marketing and communication campaigns to increase awareness and engagement with transport projects across West Yorkshire, working with stakeholders, elected members, and the West Yorkshire Mayor to support the West Yorkshire Plan. · Create compelling content and creative briefs for online and offline platforms including social media, newsletters, blogs, websites, videos, marketing materials, case studies, and publications. · Manage budgets, monitor KPIs, and support brand development, ensuring campaigns are cost-effective, aligned with strategic objectives, and contribute to the transport brand review and rollout. About You You will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience: · Educated to degree level or equivalent experience and relevant qualification in marketing, PR, or communications. · Practical experience of successfully performing in a similar role. · A demonstrable understanding of the principles of planning objective led marketing campaigns across multiple platforms. · An ability to translate complex or technical information into highly engaging content. · Experience of working within agreed budgets, measuring campaigns and reporting on KPIs.
