This job is advertised for London and Luxembourg offices but can be located in any EU FC.
At Amazon, we believe every day is still day one—a day to take the first step and look forward to new challenges. Today is that day for you to be part of something great, to make your ideas come to life, and to join a company that redefines itself daily. That’s the energy and passion behind Amazon.
The Performance Management Leader (PML) leads and develops Customer Delivery Excellence across our European Fulfillment Centers, working with Operations, Analytics, and stakeholders across the Supply Chain.
The PML defines and monitors relevant metrics, connects them with shop floor processes, and identifies opportunities for performance improvements, as well as corrective and preventive actions.
They provide in-depth data analysis for decision-making to ensure reliable delivery and visibility of Amazon’s value streams. The PML develops projects and initiatives, presenting them to senior management at a regional level. While primarily focused on the EU, the Process Improvement Specialist owns the design and global rollout of their initiatives.
The role requires excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels, process understanding, and a strong analytical background. The goal is to excel in Amazon’s high standards to increase customer satisfaction through fast, reliable, world-class services.
The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, operations management experience, and analytical knowledge. They should be comfortable facilitating ideas from concept to execution, developing tools with analytics support to aid decision-making based on data and trends.
We seek a leader passionate about process improvement, program management, with a background in Operations, Transportation, Supply Chain, or Analytics to join our EU team in Luxembourg, London, or any European Fulfillment Center or Corporate Office. Your role is to discover what we don’t know yet and provide stakeholders with data to make informed decisions for excellence in customer delivery.
The PML manages daily process performance, improvement programs, analyzes data to detect defects, and proposes ideas for more efficient processes to enhance customer service, such as more accurate, faster, and cost-effective shipping and delivery.
This involves working with stakeholders from Operations, Fulfillment Centers, 3P nodes, Carriers, Amazon Linehaul, Last Mile Delivery, Finance, Customer Service, Planning, Engineering, and HR.
The PML is responsible for understanding processes end-to-end, helping stakeholders make informed decisions, and fixing complex issues. They apply statistical models to operational challenges and recommend practical solutions based on findings, collaborating with the analytics team.
