Responsibilities:
* Carry out routine Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks and planned maintenance in line with scheduled dates.
* Perform reactive repairs and electrical installation work as required.
* Ensure all documentation is completed correctly for all tasks.
* Report and record reactive tasks on the CAFM system.
* Assist with general building maintenance duties as required.
* Maintain high standards of work in line with company policies and procedures.
* Report deficiencies in systems of work or equipment that may affect service delivery or pose health & safety risks.
* Ensure work is carried out within agreed time-scales and client satisfaction is achieved.
* Provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice.
* Work flexibly according to shift patterns.
Requirements:
* City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent.
* 17th/18th edition IEE wiring regulations.
* Experience working on all types of electrical equipment.
* Knowledge of building statutory compliance.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to maintain a safe working environment as per the Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA).
* BMS knowledge.
* Experience maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment to defined criteria.
* Physical fitness to carry tools and components up to 20kg.
* Experience working in a critical environment/data centre.
* Willingness to provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice.
* Flexibility in working patterns.
