We now have a position open at Pyrland School for a creative Deputy Head of Science who will contribute to wider success by teaching outstanding Science classes and sustaining student performance in terms of teaching, learning, and evaluation.
Job overview
You’ll be delivering core aspects of the Science curriculum, and be knowledgeable in all 3 specialisms of Chemistry, Biology and Physics, using assessments and feedback to sustain and raise achievement.
Job requirements
1. Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
2. Relevant specialist qualifications and experience (e.g BSc in a Science-related degree)
3. Ability to deliver high-quality Science lessons covering a range of modules and concepts, both theoretical and practical
4. Understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for Science
5. Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning in preparation for examinations
