JOB- Toolroom Manager
LOCATION- Bolton
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £55,000 - £62,000 per annum DOE
We are looking for Toolroom Manager on a permanent basis in the Bolton area with experience in Tooling & Injection Moulding, coming from a toolmaking background and managed toolrooms with preferably CNC machine shop experience.
The Toolroom Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
* Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR Qualified by experience- Toolmaking experience
* Knowledge with EDM techniques
* CAD/CAM experience
* CNC shop management experience beneficial
* Able to verbally communicate effectively at all levels
* Injection moulded processes and tooling experience
* Excellent attention to detail
The Toolroom Manager role will involve:
* Manage manufacture of mould & press tools
* Plan & implement new mould & press tooling required times
* Assist the mould tool specialist in quotations
* Report progress effectively across the SMT
* Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
* Demonstrate effective management of staff
* Incorporate CNC component programming
* Management of tool design
