About the Role:
A small but rapidly expanding Independent Sales Organisation (ISO) is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. You’ll be responsible for acquiring and developing relationships with independent merchants across the UK, focusing on businesses with an average annual card turnover between £350k and £2m.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, engage, and onboard new merchant clients within the target market.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
* Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, providing tailored payment solutions.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the payments landscape, card acquiring, and POS technology.
About You:
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within a payments, merchant services, or acquiring environment.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills with a consultative sales approach.
* Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working independently.
* Based in or around Manchester, with flexibility for travel as needed.
