The Job Youll Do;
* Direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the testing area.
* Ensure all tests are properly prepared, executed, and concluded in accordance with SOPs
* Analyse and interpret customer technical specifications and requirements.
* Plan and schedule both internal and external testing activities, including effective resource allocation.
* Own and manage the functional test plan, contributing to the overall project schedule.
* Ensure scheduled preventive and planned maintenance activities are completed effectively.
* Maintain, track, and update the test request database to ensure accuracy and visibility.
* Apply robust testing methodologies and data analysis techniques.
* Oversee the collection and management of test data from internal, regional, and third-party sources.
* Compile, evaluate, and present comprehensive test reports with clear data-driven insights.
* Lead the procurement and/or development of test fixtures and equipment.
* Ensure full compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies.
* Support team training initiatives and contribute to ongoing technical capability development.
* Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and cross-functional teams
* Drive KPI achievement through effective resource planning and team development.
About You;
* HND qualified or higher in a relevant engineering discipline (Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering).
* Extensive experience within a manufacturing or engineering test environment.
* In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and associated components.
* Strong technical testing expertise, including software applications, acoustic analysis, thermodynamics, and instrumentation.
* Excellent verbal communication and technical presentation abilities.
* Skilled in preparing clear, precise, and comprehensive technical reports.
* Highly organised, self-driven, and proactive in approach.
* Advanced problem-solving skills with solid engineering analysis capability.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Able to work independently with flexibility and minimal supervision.
* Willing and able to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
* Effective collaborator with R&D, Development Engineering, and global cross-functional teams.
