We’re working with a welcoming, Ofsted-rated “Good” secondary school in Wolverhampton that’s looking for a full-time Biology Teacher to start ASAP. The role is long-term, with the potential to continue for the right person. You’ll be joining a supportive Science department where ideas are shared, practical learning is encouraged, and staff genuinely work together to help students succeed. What you’ll be doing Teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience) Delivering engaging lessons that make topics like cells, ecosystems, and genetics come to life Supporting students with practical investigations and exam preparation Working alongside a collaborative Science team that shares resources and planning Creating a positive classroom where students feel confident to ask questions and explore ideas What the school offers Ofsted-rated “Good” school with strong leadership A friendly and organised Science department Well-equipped laboratories and shared teaching resources Clear behaviour systems that support effective learning The opportunity for the role to continue long-term What we’re looking for UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification Experience teaching Biology in a secondary school Strong classroom management and engaging teaching style A genuine passion for helping students understand and enjoy science ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
