Project Manager – Compliance Surveillance
Overview
A financial services firm is looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager to support its Compliance function, focusing on systems and data used to monitor trading activity.
This is a hybrid role combining analysis, delivery, and data responsibilities, working closely with both business and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather and define business and data requirements
* Act as a link between business stakeholders and technology teams
* Support delivery of projects from initiation through to testing and implementation
* Perform analysis of systems, processes, and data flows
* Help design and improve data processes and controls
* Support onboarding and testing of new data sources
* Assist with issue investigation and resolution, including production data
* Provide regular updates and ensure priorities are clearly managed
* Contribute to process improvements and technology enhancements
Required Experience
* Experience in a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar role
* Background in financial services and regulated environments
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience working with data, systems, and process analysis
* Understanding of delivery lifecycles (e.g. Agile)
Desirable
* Exposure to compliance, monitoring, or control-based functions
* Experience with reporting or data visualisation tools
