The Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to join our dedicated team. You will play a vital role in the daily operations of the nursery, supporting the Manager in delivering outstanding care and education, leading staff, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery
* Act as Manager in their absence
* Lead and motivate the team to maintain a positive and nurturing environment
* Ensure high standards of care, safety, and hygiene are consistently met
* Plan, implement and monitor EYFS-based curriculum activities
* Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff
* Assist with recruitment, supervision, and staff development
* Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
What We're Looking For
* Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or above desirable)
* At least 2 years' experience in a nursery or early years setting
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Leadership or supervisory experience
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
* A caring, reliable and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for early years education
* Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain)
