Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner / Site Assistant to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organisation across our site, supporting daily operations, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
* Perform routine cleaning tasks across various areas of the site, including offices, communal spaces, and outdoor areas
* Assist with organising supplies and equipment to ensure efficient site operations
* Support with basic maintenance tasks and report any issues requiring specialised attention
* Drive company vehicles when necessary to transport supplies or personnel between locations
* Communicate effectively with team members and visitors to address enquiries and provide assistance
* Ensure health and safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper disposal of waste and use of protective equipment
* Maintain a tidy work environment to promote safety and professionalism
Experience
* Previous experience in cleaning or site assistance roles is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
* Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation duties
* Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication within the team and with clients
* Customer service skills are desirable to enhance visitor experience and support site operations
* Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating tasks and ensuring safety standards are met
