Salary: £31,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time – 40 hours per week, with weekend availability required

What You'll Be Doing:
Breaking down whole carcasses with precision and skill (beef, lamb, pork)
Jointing, boning, trimming, and portioning meat to specification
Preparing and producing sausages and other value-added products
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in all areas
Serving and advising customers with expert knowledge and excellent service
Ensuring counters are well presented, stocked, and visually appealing
Assisting with stock control, waste management, and order preparation
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in traditional butchery (minimum 2 years preferred)
Strong carcass breakdown and boning skills
Experience in sausage making and added-value product preparation
Good communication skills and a confident, friendly approach to customers
Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
Retail butchery or farm shop experience is desirable
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
