Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Visitor based at The Johnnie Walker Bond. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
Hours
21.6 hours per week.
(From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full‑time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours without loss of earnings.)
UK Driving Licence
A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
What you will do
You will work in partnership with local children and their families, alongside colleagues in NHS and partner services to enable children to have the best possible start in life and reach their optimum health outcomes. The successful applicant will work with an excellent team of Health Visitors and other Early Years staff to provide a service directed by the Universal Health Visiting Pathway.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required for this post
* Registered nurse or midwife at degree level or equivalent.
* Post‑registration qualification in Health Visiting/Public Health Nursing and be registered on Part 3 of the NMC register, with a key interest in early intervention in the early years.

Applicants may be eligible for visa sponsorship if the post meets the minimum salary threshold and other required criteria. Sponsorship is assessed on a case‑by‑case basis following interview and at the commencement of pre‑employment checks. This post is not a Bank contract or Band 2.
