Job Overview
Practice Manager – 32.75 hours per week, part time, permanent contract. Location: Thurmaston. Shift: Days. Salary: competitive salary plus benefits. Closing date: 11 June 2026.
Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team to deliver an excellent patient experience and maintain high levels of patient safety.
* Manage the store pharmacist and pharmacy colleagues, ensuring all pharmacy‑related targets and deadlines are met.
* Ensure compliance with GPhC operating standards and clinical governance.
* Support and develop all direct reports and locums to maintain professional customer service standards.
* Assist with clinical and service queries, coordinating with regional and home‑office teams.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
* Accredited to deliver national and local NHS and private healthcare services.
* Experience as a line manager able to balance managerial and pharmacist roles to maintain a safe working environment.
* Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve defined key performance areas.
* Experience handling challenging situations, maintaining strong relationships with store and field teams.
* Valid GPhC registration, right to work in the UK, safeguarding qualifications, DBS check and live update enrollment.
Rota
* Week1 – Saturday 09:00–13:30; Monday 09:00–21:00; Tuesday 13:00–21:00; Wednesday 09:00–13:00; Thursday 17:00–21:00.
* Week2 – Monday 09:00–21:00; Tuesday 13:00–21:00; Wednesday 09:00–13:00; Friday 14:30–21:00.
