Streamline Recruitment are partnering with a well-established logistics business that is expanding into warehousing and distribution with a new, purpose-built facility in the London Gateway area.
This is a senior appointment with full responsibility for setting up and running the warehouse operation. The role offers the chance to shape processes from the ground up, build the team, and develop contracts to drive growth.
The Warehouse Operations Director will lead the implementation, and day-to-day running of the new warehouse. The position covers operational strategy, people management, compliance, inventory control, and customer service ensuring the site delivers efficiently and to high standards from the outset.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the full set-up of the new warehouse, including layout, systems, processes, and KPIs.
2. Manage the budget, P&L, cost control, and overall financial performance of the site.
3. Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and compliance.
