Safestay Brighton is looking for a Maintenance Team Member to support the day-to-day upkeep of the hostel and ensure our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment.

Your Responsibilities
Carry out routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the hostel
Handle small electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting work
Assemble furniture and maintain fixtures and fittings
Monitor equipment and ensure facilities operate safely and efficiently
Identify and report potential technical issues
Support and supervise contractors when maintenance works are required
Assist the management team in maintaining building safety standards
What Were Looking For
A practical and reliable individual with a hands-on approach
Experience in maintenance, technical work, or building services preferred
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, or general repair work
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
Good communication skills and basic English
Flexible and proactive with a problem-solving mindset
