Overview
We have an opportunity for an Assembly & Test Technician to join our Safety and Productivity Solutions business, within the Industrial Automation department, that provides comprehensive solutions that enhance workplace safety and incident response, improve enterprise and workflow performance and enable greater product design innovation. The role is based with our manufacturing team in Poole, Dorset.
We enable our customers to enhance the safety, sustainability, resilience and productivity of their people, plants, and assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Read, understand and work to Assembly Drawings, Parts Lists, Process Specifications & Standard Operating Sheets, and carry out tests where necessary.
* Manual Assembly of hand-built cells
* Hand soldering to IPC-A-610 level 2
* Work as part of the manufacturing team
* Maintain safe working practices and conduct safety observations as required (one per week)
Key Skills And Qualifications
* Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
* Basic PC skills and ability to hand solder
* Fluency in both written and spoken English
* Job-related qualifications
* PMO/PEO level 1 or equivalent is desirable but not essential
