Responsibilities
:
1. Support the oversight of the effectiveness of existing controls, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes.
2. Help drive and manage controls enhancements focused on increasing efficiency and reducing risk.
3. Assist in the execution of Enterprise Risk Management Framework and adherence with Risk Management andpliance Policies.
4. Help assess activities and processes as per required Policies, Standards and Procedures, as well as internal processes, to strengthen risk management quality.
5. Collaborate with key stakeholders to developprehensive, often cross functional, action plans to address identified control gaps or failures
6. Support development of standardized process, activity or metrics reporting to ensure sound, reliable, and consistent information exists across the organization, enabling better management and decision-making in line with the expectations of senior management, Board, and Regulators.
7. Participate in the oversight of the operations of Citi'sernancemittees, forums or working groups including coordinating meetings, managing agendas, and ensuring follow-up on action items arepleted timely.
8. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by drivingpliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of teams and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
Qualifications:
9. Experience in operational risk management, operations,pliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry.
10. Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls.
11. Strong knowledge in the development and execution for controls or control type processes.
12. Proven experience in control related functions in the financial industry.
13. Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainable solutions and improving processes.
14. Proven track record on multi-disciplinary programs and/or projects.
15. Understanding ofpliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices.
16. Understanding of Citi's Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
17. Strong analytical skills to evaluateplex risk and control activities and processes.
18. Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage at the senior management level.
19. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
20. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
21. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
22. Proactive mindset with the ability to think critically, influence to solveplex problems, and drive innovative solutions.
23. Adaptability, able to work with ambiguity and change.
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
