Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Problem Manager with extensive experience in the financial services sector to join our dynamic team. As a Problem Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex problems within our financial services operations. Your primary focus will be on minimizing the impact of incidents, preventing recurrence of issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
* Proactively identify and prioritize problems within the financial services domain through trend analysis, incident reports, and stakeholder feedback.
* Conduct in-depth root cause analysis to understand the underlying issues contributing to incidents and problems. Collaborate with relevant teams to gather necessary data and insights.
* Develop comprehensive plans for resolving identified problems, including short-term workarounds and long-term solutions. Ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with Incident Management teams to provide expertise and guidance during major incidents. Assist in determining appropriate escalation paths and prioritizing problem resolution efforts.
* Assess the potential impact of identified problems on business operations, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. Implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize adverse effects.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the reliability, stability, and efficiency of financial services processes. Leverage industry best practices and emerging technologies to optimize problem management practices.
* Maintain transparent and proactive communication with stakeholders, including senior management, business units, and external partners. Provide regular updates on problem resolution progress and key milestones.
* Maintain accurate documentation of problem management activities, including incident records, root cause analyses, and resolution plans. Generate insightful reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
* Proven experience \\as a Problem Manager within the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of banking, investment, or insurance operations.
* In-depth knowledge of problem management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Experience with ITIL framework is highly desirable.
