Job Description:
Responsible for supervising and managing the operation of the installation’s marine systems and associated equipment in accordance with design, UKCS legislation, classification society rules, and flag state legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the safe and cost-effective operation and maintenance of the installation’s marine systems with minimal environmental impact.
* Ensure thorough knowledge of the operating safety case and performance standards, ensuring that asset integrity is maintained.
* Act as the Responsible Person/Area Authority for all operations in the Marine Department requiring a work permit, ensuring all safety precautions are taken and work is carried out safely.

* Ensure accurate completion of Marine Department data, logs, vessel movements, weather reports, and tank contents.

* Coordinate with the Deck Foreman on supply vessel, helicopter, and tanker operations.
* Plan fuel loading according to procedures.
* Maintain the tank inspection plan regarding cargo, ballast, fuel, and void tanks, in line with RBI class and verification requirements.

* Verify that Marine Control Room Operators’ load and offload plans comply with manuals.
* Supervise Marine Control Room Operators and ensure marine systems operate within design parameters.
* Maintain records for cranes and helicopter operations, including refuelling.
* Perform any other tasks as reasonably required.
